Information Technology Esports In-House Academy

The esports program provides an innovative, integrated learning environment that combines the FLDOE Digital Media/Multimedia Foundations course sequence with the Esports Ecosystem. Students will learn about competitive gaming, digital media, business management, and technology. The program provides students with the training and skills necessary for careers such as: Professional Player, Team Manager, Shoutcaster/Commentator, Digital Content Creator, Tournament Organizer, Game Developer, Esports Marketing Specialist, and Network Technician.

Why Esports?

The Info Tech Esports program focuses on Digital Media, Gaming Development, and Entrepreneurship. Students earn industry certifications through the four-year Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathway. Through the Network of Academic Scholastic Esports Federation (NASEF), we offer innovative and immersive, career-oriented education that aligns with industry standards. The growing interest in esports among students motivates us to integrate esports components into daily teaching, aligning with the comprehensive Esports Ecosystem. The program's goal is to nurture students' passion for careers in esports and provide them with access to scholarships for higher education. Esports equips students with essential academic and technical skills crucial for future success in STEM and non-STEM post-secondary learning pathways and careers.
